“Song Sung Blue” Takes Shape

Reports suggest the movie may be “Song Sung Blue”, a musical drama based on the 2008 documentary about Lightning & Thunder, a Neil Diamond tribute band formed by a Milwaukee couple. In October, Variety revealed Jackman and Hudson’s roles in the upcoming Focus Features production, which is being directed by Craig Brewer (“Hustle & Flow,” “Coming 2 America”) and produced by John Davis of Davis Entertainment.

Tierney’s Hosts the Action

Filming temporarily closed Tierney’s Tavern this week, with the business sharing the news on Facebook. The tavern announced it would remain shut through Friday, Dec. 6, to accommodate the production.

Tierney’s, a Montclair landmark known for its cozy atmosphere and community ties, adds authenticity to the film’s setting. Its inclusion signals an exciting moment for the local film scene and its fans.
