• THE TRAIN STATION LOT WILL BE UNDER CONSTRUCTION FOR THE NEXT 3-4 MONTHS FOR RENOVATION AND ADDITION OF 35 PARKING SPACES
• DURING THE CONSTRUCTION UP TO 40 PARKING SPACES BE UNAVAILABLE
• YOUR PREMIUM HANG TAG ALLOWS YOU TO PARK IN ALL LOTS. THESE LOTS INCLUDE: HUDSON LOT (YOU MAY PARK IN THE 3 ROWS FARTHEST AWAY FROM BROAD STREET), PROSPECT LOT, CHESTNUT LOT, NORTH WALNUT LOT AND COTTAGE PLACE LOT
• YOU MAY NOT PARK IN SHOPPERS/DINERS OR CBD EMPLOYEE PARKING SPACES OR SPACES DESIGNATED AS HUDSON LOT PERMITS ONLY

I guess it was to be expected that they would not get it right the first time.
Municipal government at its worst.
What are we supposed to do? The lot is typically full before 6:45 am. Residents are just getting kicked around. Some of us have to get to work by train and have no option other to drive and park at the station.
Why didn’t the village preplan this and not issue non resident stickers to reduce the number of cars? There are ways to plan things. Really poor leadership, planning, and just a slap to commuters already stressed by a tough train ride

Residents voted them in and the angry mob wanted more spots. Who did you expect would pay for the garage. How did you think 30 more spots would appear magically…. Hahaha

What should be done is to lift parking restrictions on adjacent streets during the reconstruction of the parking lot.
I would park in Village jewelers pick up all the spots all day long.
