Ridgewood NJ, Juneteenth is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States. From its Galveston, Texas origin in 1865, the observance of June 19th as the African American Emancipation Day .
General Order No. 3 transmitted the news of the Emancipation Proclamation to the residents of Texas and freed all remaining enslaved people in the state. The general order was issued by Union General Gordon Granger on June 19, 1865 at Ashton Villa upon arriving at Galveston, Texas, over a month after the formal end of the American Civil War and two years after the original issuance of the Emancipation Proclamation, the Democrats still didn’t want to give up their slaves.
The celebrations that followed the reading of the proclamation by General Gordon Granger began a tradition that has lasted for one hundred and fifty five years, and today is hosted in cities across America and beyond.
Juneteenth commemorates African American freedom and emphasizes education and achievement. Juneteenth is commemorative, not of the horrific institution our country embraced, but rather as a showcase of the strength in the American spirit to recognize wrong and set about making it right. Where Republican Abraham Lincoln and the Union Army defeated Jefferson Davis and slave owning Democrats of the Southern Confederacy . In this same spirit America moves ahead today in leveling playing fields and achieving ever greater equality. Let us celebrate all that Juneteenth teaches us about our country’s greatness of the heart to hear and to learn and to work together for all that is good and just.
Anti-Juneteenth crowd should pay attention to this informative post before they complain about “made up” holidays.

Juneteenth was not recognized as a holiday until the deep state and BLM promoted following the “peaceful protests” in the 2020 summer of love. Not taking anything away from the sacrifices that many made along the way, but this holiday was politically endorsed by the democratic party in the opportunity to push for more DEI and political policy based on gender and color of skin. No where from 2021-2024 did Biden and the democrats do anything promote and celebrate the white working class of this nation. Us white republicans were labeled neo nazis and far right extremists, but guess what, we were just asking the questions that DC and the MSM didn’t. We challenged those in authority to find the truth. We did not cower to fear of neglect or cancellation. We stood strong bounded the principals of creator endowed upon us. Life liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
If you look closely at the history of the democratic party you will begin to understand why they call themselves “progressives”, but yet, what the democrats actually have done is regressed over the last 60 years. They push for a more inclusive society not understanding the negative outcomes as a result. Now we have 10% of a population that identifies as something other than male or female. We have 20 million new illegal immigrants (100,000 violent criminals & 30,000 murders from all over the globe) who came here between 2021 and 2024. They want open borders and world wars. The democrats dont even know what they want or support. They just go along with what the mainstream media promotes and focuses on. One of the biggest psy ops you could ever imagine. The govt having so much control over your thoughts and emotions, getting you attached to the movement and your feelings. Life’s all about feelings. We want the happy feeling. Peel off some layers, tap into that mammal brain of yours, what is it saying. Is it saying you dont belong here or you do, cause I certaintly dont and I am going to find a way to the other side soon.
they want us to be divided. it doesnt take a person like me to keep you on the other side. You have to think outside the box. They’ve been distracting us for years getting us attached to pleasures not real happiness. We were meant to be in nature. Our ancestors were hunters, foragers, and gatherers. How is it in just 1 century that we’ve let these corporate and govt entities steal are future and our way of life. This is not how real life is supposed to be. What happened to us as human beings. Just a few generations ago we all worked with our hands and provided much better products and services. Now or govt and corporate class has imported tens of millions of people who shouldnt be here exausting the resources for us AMericans and as a result increasing taxes. UNder Biden the average cost of a home nearly doubled in 4 years with interest rates increased. How can young people afford to live in a society like this where there income is socialized and they are competing with people all over the world that are in there counties and neighborhoods competing for the same job. College degree or not were being undermined but immigrants. No bout a doubt it
