UNION, NJ — Kean University, New Jersey’s urban research university, has achieved a historic milestone with nearly 19,000 students enrolled worldwide for the Fall 2025 semester — the largest student body in the University’s history.
With over 20,000 applications received this year, Kean continues to solidify its reputation as a Carnegie R2 research university, attracting students from 36 states and 69 countries.
Record-Breaking Enrollment Across Programs
This year’s student body includes about 4,100 new students:

2,000 freshmen
-
1,450 transfer students
-
670 new graduate students

Early Childhood Education
The Department of Health and Human Performance saw especially strong growth, reaching 800+ students, compared to just 276 students four years ago.

At least 10,000, maybe more, are just wasting their parents’ money. Psychology? I never met one that wasn’t mental. Consider computer training, medical/dental training, or your local trade schools. Money well spent, and saving tens of thousands in student loans.
