Glen Rock NJ, a maskless adult male commuter train passenger displayed a knife and threatened a NJ Transit conductor who had asked him to put on a mask as the train entered Glen Rock Boro Hall Station, Glen Rock on Wednesday morning, 10/20. The suspect disembarked the train, fleeing the area on foot, and subsequently sought shelter nearby in the home of an acquaintance. An alert Glen Rock Police supervisor observed the individual enter the home and placed a radio call for back up. The home was quickly surrounded by Glen Rock Police and Ridgewood Police officers, who ensured the suspect remained in place until NJ Transit Police officers arrived. Two (2) NJ Transit Police officers placed the individual under arrest shortly after their arrival and transported him to an undisclosed location for processing.
