Ridgewood NJ, The Village council approved by a 3-2 vote to approve L E D Message Board . ( guess which 3 votes for the message board)
A Village resident Boyd Loving caution the council that people driving maybe distracted reading these signs The Village Manager replied that the placement of the L E D Message Board at Village Hall will be placed so people could pull their vehicles over and get out to read the sign. Really, did you ever try to park in front of Village Hall and I suppose that people will be out of their car read the sign during a hurricane or blizzard.
First message. “Vote for Paul, Albert and Gynn for 2016 Change you better believe in”
Plenty of towns have these signs and have no problems. Stop complaining.
Not complaining #1 just a suggestion for some thing to put on the sign. A little sensitive are we.. Heres another suggestion “For Sale”
my god the manager said that, pull over yeah hello. get your head out of wall street thinking. boy she is a puppet. and for the other three well you know. so manny scams. we all need a new crew.

No stopping or standing is the rule if you’re heading southbound on North Maple Avenue near Village Hall, so don’t follow the Village Manager’s advice if you’re in that spot or you’ll get a ticket.

I am capable of driving past billboards and signs. Not a problem for me.
When savvy attorneys start to realize they can sue the town for distracting the driver in future traffic accidents, and they will, we can send the bill to the message board company for selling it to us. But they won’t pay.
“Drive sober or get pulled over.” Like we needed a display sign to know that!
So idiots do. #13. Not everyone drive sober.
Here is a sign suggestion: Welcome to Ridgewood, where government officials don’t value your opinions or input, so just sit down and shut up.
