  1. A ghost lit the field. Flashback to a time when the RHS field was an impromptu post-Thanksgiving-meal touch football facility for irresponsible recent alumni home for the holiday and more than willing to risk the wrath of the Athletics Director. Mr. VanYperen, was it? Good times, good times…

  2. The BOE certainly does know how to waste tax dollars, don’t they?

  3. Someone should be fired for this blatant misuse of taxpayer funds.

  4. Money to burn.

  5. Why should it matter? I mean, it’s only taxpayers money.

  6. Less waste of electricity should be one of the village’s New Year’s resolutions (starting immediately).

  7. “Your lights are on, but you’re not home . . . “. Sums up the BOE of late. Goes with the sign supporting all day K that they put out on Cottage Place. Are they asleep at the switch over there or what?

  8. Same thing tonight. The lights were blazing when I went by. Field empty. What a completely disgraceful waste of electricity.

  9. I noticed the same thing when I rode by. I wondered if anyone will accept responsibility.
