More than 600 delegates representing 1,000 labor unions and 1 million members of the New Jersey State AFL-CIO convened at Caesars Atlantic City June 16 & 17, 2015, to participate in the endorsement process for one New Jersey Senate seat, 80 state Assembly seats and for a slate of 48 rank-and-file union members seeking public offices at every level of government. Clearly the unions have no influence on Dems in Trenton. And obviously none of the tax payer dollars wasted by the Dem legislature which has been in power since 2002 were spent on pet union projects like Xanadu. The fact that they hold a convention in union-controlled Atlantic decide to decide which politicians to buy with money and votes clearly has no impact on how Dems conduct their business in Trenton. Wonder if Sweeney and Sarlo get endorsed by this convention? They’re the guys who want to raise state taxes by 25%, gasoline taxes by 25c/gallon and NJ sales by 10% to pay for a pension system running out of funds, and the black hole NJ Transportation Fund which pays for state roads that cost NJ taxpayers 3X more than the next highest state (MA) and 12X the national avg. Wonder why they’re not asking any questions about that at this Unionboondogglepalooza in AC to select which politicians to buy?
Union, union union. Give it up will you please. Next you say this blog is union backed. What else?
Hey if you’re a union apologist why are you on this blog? Shouldn’t you be in AC with the rest of your toadies deciding which Dems in Trenton to buy? You and your union sycophant friends in Trenton have destroyed NJ since the 1990s. Leave for Florida and let the adults clean up your mess.
