What’s this I see in Ridgewood? A very interesting exhibit is taking place at the Stable 259 North maple Ave from June 4th to June 30th .Featuring the paintings of Louise Ann Mabil (https://www.lamabli.com/). Gallery Hours are from 11-5pm Monday through Thursday. You won’t see a room full or landscapes or still life’s this collection is modern, yes I said modern, in Ridgewood, very prolific and very eccentric. I know that some of you view modern art as a symbol for the very break down of the moral fiber of our society and cringe at the very notion that “the modern” has reached our little village but there is something for everyone and there is certainly food for thought so don’t over look it on these warm summer days.
