A Historic Season Finale: RHS Marching Band Sets New Standard at MetLife

East Rutherford NJ, the sun has set on the 2025 Marching Band season, but not before the Ridgewood High School Marching Band (RHSMB) made history! We want to extend a massive congratulations to the entire RHSMB community for an incredible year culminating in a strong finish at the USBands Open Class Championships at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford.
The RHSMB finished their season placing eighth overall in the highly competitive Open Class, achieving an impressive final score of 87.7.
The Challenge: First Voyage into Open Class
This year marked a monumental moment for the program: their first voyage into the challenging waters of Open Class competition. This leap required unprecedented dedication, growth, and boundary-pushing from every single member.
The journey was one of constant evolution and learning. A true highlight, and a feat that will be remembered forever, was the challenge of putting a brand new Intro AND Closer onto the field in the middle of the competitive season! This move showcased the band’s ability to adapt and perform under pressure, setting a new standard that will define future RHSMB seasons.
The success of this program is a testament to the community surrounding it. The RHSMB made waves this year, not just with their score, but with their spirit and resilience:
