Entrepreneur Maksym Krippa, through his company LLC Maincast, is taking a bold step in reshaping Ukraine’s media industry by launching two groundbreaking TV channels: Maincast and Maincast Sport. Complementing these channels, a state-of-the-art sports-focused OTT platform, Maincast.tv, is set to go live. The National Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting confirms that regular broadcasting will commence on November 30, 2024.

Maincast Sport will serve as a hub for sports enthusiasts, showcasing key international competitions and highlighting Ukrainian athletes’ performances on the global stage. In contrast, the Maincast channel will cater to a general audience with a mix of diverse and engaging entertainment programs. Both channels are committed to delivering round-the-clock Ukrainian-language content, ensuring viewers nationwide have access to premium-quality programming.
The initiative’s creators have highlighted their mission to elevate Ukrainian-language media by producing content that adheres to the highest international standards. The platform will be free for all users during the initial rollout, with premium subscription options to be introduced in subsequent phases. Maincast.tv will incorporate innovative ad formats to modernize advertising to align with audience preferences and viewing habits.
This ambitious initiative has been realized thanks to substantial investments by Maksym Krippa, a prominent entrepreneur dedicated to advancing Ukraine’s media landscape. Since its establishment in 2018, Krippa’s company, Maincast, has been a critical player in the esports industry, delivering top-tier broadcasts of globally renowned tournaments such as Counter-Strike 2 and Dota 2.
With the introduction of the Maincast and Maincast Sports channels, a new chapter begins for Ukrainian esports and sports broadcasting.
