Upper Saddle River NJ, just a little after 4:30 this afternoon, Upper Saddle River Fire Department was requested to a home on Hillside Avenue for a reported structure fire. First arriving Fire Department and Upper Saddle River Police units found heavy fire in a residential structure. The fire was brought under control about 2.5 hours after dispatch.

Sunday evening, Saddle River Fire Department Engine 1131 and Engine 1133 responded to the multiple alarm fire in Upper Saddle River. Engine 1131 and 1133 were tasked with water supply. Engine 1131 established a draft from a river on Hillside Ave supplying the water to the scene which was approximately 1000 feet away. Luckily no one was injured during this fire. The cause is currently under investigation.
Mutual aid was provided by firefighters from Allendale, Emerson, Fair Lawn, Fort Lee, Franklin Lakes, Glen Rock, Hillsdale, Ho-Ho-Kus, Ramsey, Mahwah, Midland Park, Montvale, Oakland, Paramus, Ramsey, Ridgewood, Wyckoff, Wanaque, Woodcliff Lake, Bloomingdale, Pompton Lakes, Ringwood, and multiple Rockland County companies, including Hillcrest, Monsey, Pearl River, Spring Valley, South Spring Valley, Stony Point, Suffern, Tallman and Thiells.
