Thanks for staying on this – can’t believe it and hope it is not true after supporting this program for so many years. Why do the fields look so awful if the program has such a surplus of money? Every town referenced in these videos/websites has superior facilities – is any of the RBSA money supposed to go to fields? Where is that money going?
Maybe it is going for that that world class field being built by rt 17.
Deer… we can’t SPECULATE around MAYBE… this money is being brought in and is being SPENT on an annual basis for over a DECADE at a rate of 3.5x -> 20x comparison towns. We need to look in the rearview mirror and get some answers.

While the RBSA could meet NJ’s LEGAL SAFETY TRAINING REQUIREMENTS for around 10k per year, they are generating, on AVERAGE, $50k/YEAR in REVENUE and $150k/YEAR in EXPENSE for SAFETY TRAINING and INSTRUCTION…
That’s a MONSTER COST and an even BIGGER NET LOSS! Seems CRIMINAL to me….
Who is writing checks for TRAINING?
Who is getting paid off this TRAINING?
Who is performing this TRAINING?!?
Why is the RBSA’s SAFETY TRAINING operating at a HUGE NEGATIVE MARGIN?!?
Why did the RBSA report -$0- in REV/EXPENSE for 2014/2015?
Is SAFETY TRAINING an ENGINE for KICKBACKS?
Is SAFETY TRAINING being conducted in HAWAII?!?

It’s actually quite hysterical the way these RBSA TROLLS initially went on the OFFENSE and have quietly and quickly SHRUNK back into their hobbit-holes…They have no DATA, ARGUMENTS, LOGICAL or LEGAL footing to SUPPORT their RETORT…. “Hissy-Fit-Central!!!!” They’re nothing but a bunch of “COWARDLY JIM’s”

Our fields can’t be kept for just baseball/softball. The wear and tear on all of them make it almost impossible to keep up.
Vets 90 was redone several years ago and gets soccer (year round) and football played on it . Hawes and Citizens gets used by the schools (and soccer).
Many of the towns you’ve mentioned in the video’s have remote fields without additional use. Westwood’s facility is built on an old town dump site and has several fields for baseball/softball and soccer (separate). River Edge’s main fields are kept locked unless used by baseball. You’re trying to compare oranges to apples when it comes to field use.
The RBSA can’t limit field use and they do the best they can to keep them playable during the season.
Fast Eddie holds the pursestrings and schedules the fields. Ask him.
