MTA/NJ Transit Update
MTA Update
· The Long Island Rail Road is providing limited two-hourly service to and from Farmingdale on the Ronkonkoma Branch, to and from Huntington, Babylon and Port Washington. Service remains suspended service on the Port Jefferson and Ronkonkoma Branches east of Hicksville, on the Port Washington Branch and on the Montauk Branch east of Speonk due to the storm. https://lirr42.mta.info/
· Metro-North Railroad will resume service after 11:00 a.m. this morning on the Harlem and Hudson lines, but service on the New Haven Line will remain suspended due to heavy snow accumulation along the line, up to three feet in some areas. https://as0.mta.info/mnr/schedules/sched_form.cfm
· Subway service is operating with scattered delays and trains have been stored underground along express tracks around the system to prevent trains from being blocked in yards by drifting snow. https://alert.mta.info/

· Service along the Morris & Essex and the Montclair-Boonton lines will resume at 12pm. This includes Midtown Direct service along the Morristown Line.
· Engineers have completed inspections and crews have restored power to overhead catenary wires and signal systems. As a result, service will be able to resume in a safe manner.

· All bus service in central and northern New Jersey bus service north of I-195 was restored as of 8:00 a.m. This includes all routes that serve Port Authority Bus Terminal and George Washington Bridge Bus Terminal, as well as all northern local bus routes.
· Customers can expect service delays and detours due to local road conditions. As such, customers should afford themselves ample time to reach their final destinations.
