River Vale NJ ,Assemblywomen Holly Schepisi commented on the fact the NJMVC workers were furloughed on the same day the NJMVC has opened ,” Another example of the frustration we feel due to nonsensical decisions being made by the administration. Almost two months ago the legislature unanimously passed a bill to furlough state employees. This legislation would have enabled the State to take advantage of matching fund and other federal incentive programs, saving the State over $500 million while many State employees were being paid their full salaries to literally sit home and do nothing.
The Governor refused to sign the legislation. On June 29, he provided a conditional veto to the original bill essentially rewriting the legislation unanimously passed 6 weeks prior, now seeking to furlough state employees at the exact time that government was reopening.
The results? Workers at motor vehicles were furloughed the same week MVC was reopening. The past day and 1/2 at MVC was such a disaster that today the Governor announced employees at motor vehicles would no longer be furloughed. State recreation areas, boat launching and outdoor recreation at certain State parks will be closing for the month of July due to “furloughed” employees at the Department of Environmental Protection. What services will be next and why in God’s name didn’t he do this 2 months ago when everything in the State was shut down?”

If they continue acting like this the state is going to look like shit. They did this many years ago and the state looked terrible. If you go up and down state highways they are Filthy.
I see exactly 3 people wearing masks in that picture.
Is anyone paying attention to what’s happening in Florida, South Carolina, Arizona, etc ?
How is closing boat ramps going to help anything? In all the years I have been fishing, I have never seen a single DEP.Game Warden at any boat ramps… its not like they station people At these ramps to check boat registrations or check boat safety equipment… For some reason it seems every time Murphy takes another of his “executive actions”, he closes down fishing and boating.,, I guess it’s because he and his buddies go out on yachts… so they don’t need the ramps… Maybe he does it because the “little boats” disturb the “big boat” elites..,
It’s all bullshit, it’s all about showtime. At times like this open everything up so people can go to work. We need all the services that we can get. People have to learn to separate themselves, keep clean and keep things clean. There are so many filthy dirty animals walking around, some people don’t even take a shower every day slobs.
