Waldwick NJ, a new website https://www.freeconcerts.net will inform New Jersey music lovers about the hundreds of summer concerts offered by local communities.
Ridgewood residents, who can enjoy Ridgewood concerts every Tuesday and Thursday, will be able to find shows on other days in Westwood, Paramus, Waldwick, Ramapo College, Elmwood Park, and many other communities.
Groups that can be found on the website include the Kootz, the Nerds, the Infernos, Xtreme Queen, the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra and the West Point Band.
Website editor Paul Boddy said he started the site because the publicity for concerts just a few miles away often didn’t reach him. He says that because of the website concertgoers on every summer night can choose from three or more shows within a ten-mile radius of their homes.
The website includes listings for Monmouth and Ocean counties so that no one will miss out on music while on vacation.
