Glen Rock NJ, an 18-year-old from New Milford is facing charges of receiving stolen property following an incident that began weeks earlier when police caught him allegedly prowling around homes in a Glen Rock neighborhood.
According to Glen Rock Police, the events unfolded on November 18 when Officer Nick Onove observed Gabriel A. Guedez and another individual in the area of Cornwall Road and Gibson Place. The officer confronted the pair, suspecting suspicious activity.
During the encounter, Officer Onove recovered items later confirmed to have been stolen from a resident’s vehicle in the area.
Arrest and Charges
Following an investigation, Guedez was taken into custody last week by Detective Lucas Doney and Officer Adam Pyatak. He was processed at Glen Rock Police Headquarters before being transported to the Bergen County Jail.
The teen is now awaiting an appearance before Central Judicial Processing at Superior Court in Hackensack.
