RIDGEWOOD, NJ — Ridgewood is in the spotlight this week as Netflix begins filming its upcoming teen musical drama, “Don’t Say Good Luck,” at Benjamin Franklin Middle School. The production, which stars Sunny Sandler, is being co-produced by her father, comedy icon Adam Sandler, and is expected to continue filming across New Jersey over the next two weeks.

Ridgewood NJ, Benjamin Franklin Middle School 5th grader Nathan Yu has made his hometown proud by finishing 5th in the nation at the U.S. Geography Championships in Orlando, Florida. The young geography whiz also advanced to the semifinals of the U.S. Geography Bee and reached the quarterfinals of the National Geography Bee, cementing his place among the top geography students in the country.
