Meta’s Secretive Efforts to Enter the Chinese Market Revealed

Ridgewood NJ, a whistleblower complaint filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) alleges that Meta developed a censorship tool and offered data access to China in an attempt to break into the Chinese market. The complaint, backed by internal documents, was filed by Sarah Wynn-Williams, a former global policy director at Meta who worked on China-related initiatives.
