Hackensack NJ, C-SPAN will visit Bergen County Academies in Hackensack, New Jersey on Friday, May 30 at 1:45pm to celebrate and honor students for their Honorable Mention winning entries in C-SPAN’s annual student video documentary competition, StudentCam. C-SPAN and Optimum, the leading provider of fiber internet, mobile, and TV services, will join the community in recognizing the winners as well as their teacher, Scott Lang, who served as their StudentCam adviser, at an assembly of classmates, teachers, family members, and elected officials.
Washington DC, C-SPAN announced that students at Bergen County Academies in Hackensack, New Jersey are honorable mention prize winners in C-SPAN’s national 2023 StudentCam competition.

On Wednesday, WPVI (Philadelphia’s ABC affiliate Channel 6) ordered C-Span to remove New Jersey’s only 2014 U. S. Senate debate from the C-Span website. Since Channel 6 is not offering the debate for viewing on its own website, this means that the only debate between Senator Cory Booker and Jeff Bell is no longer available online to the voters who will decide this election next Tuesday.
