It took Us Longer than We Expected to Get Ready for International Women’s Day

Ridgewood NJ, International Women’s Day (IWD) is celebrated on March 8 every year. It is a focal point in the movement for women’s rights.  We know it was yesterday but some of the staff took longer to get ready. After the Socialist Party of America organized a Women’s Day on February 28, 1909, in New York, the 1910 International Socialist Woman’s Conference suggested a Women’s Day be held annually.

In October 2015, Glamour magazine named Caitlyn Jenner one of its 25 Glamour Women of the Year . Glamour’s Women of the Year Awards, are an event which honors women of various backgrounds.

Caitlyn Jenner uses ladies room at Trump Tower

Caitlyn Jenner has taken Donald Trump on his offer to use the restroom of her choosing while visiting one of his Trump Towers — and recorded the landmark moment for posterity.

“A trans woman in New York, I gotta take a pee,” Jenner says in a Facebook video filmed outside the Trump International Hotel and Tower near Central Park.

“Last week Donald Trump said I could take a pee anywhere in a Trump facility,” she continues. “I am gonna go take a pee in the ladies’ room.”

After returning from her brief bathroom trip, Jenner thanks Trump for the opportunity and informsTed Cruz that “nobody got molested.”
The billionaire businessman turned some heads last week when he appeared to suggest that North Carolina’s controversial “bathroom law” had gone too far.

Caitlyn Jenner: ‘Hillary Clinton Couldn’t Care Less About Women’

During the season premiere of “I Am Cait” Sunday night, Jenner was on a bus tour with a group of transgender women when he said he didn’t want to stop at the Democratic debate. (RELATED: Caitlyn Jenner Fondly Remembers When Obama, Hillary Opposed Gay Marriage)

“It’s the last place I want to be,” Jenner said. “But I’m open. We need both sides and if we’re unfortunate enough get Hillary as our next president, we need her on our side. Although she won’t be — she couldn’t care less about women.”
