Hackensack NJ, Professional Firefighters Association of New Jersey is accusing the Hackensack City Council of refusing $2.4 MILLION GRANT TO HIRE ADDITIONAL FIREFIGHTERS. On Tuesday November 1st at 7PM Hackensack they are encouraging residents to attend the next city council meeting, to directly ask city leaders why they are not accepting the $2.4 million federal grant to add 12 firefighters to our department. Increasing staffing will make Hackensack a safer community for all. Please attend the city council meeting to support the safety of yourself, your neighbors and your firefighters.
