Mahwah, NJ – A major scientific breakthrough has injected new life into a two-decade-old mystery in Burlington County. Authorities have announced critical new details in the cold case of a woman whose remains were discovered 21 years ago in Mount Laurel, New Jersey.

The New Jersey State Police Cold Case Unit, in collaboration with the Ramapo College Investigative Genetic Genealogy Center, provided a significant update on the case, which has long been known as the “Burlington County Jane Doe”.
