Construction Worker Charged with Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Fair Lawn Minor

Fair Lawn NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of ELKANA GONZALEZ (DOB:06/21/1998; single; construction worker) of 9 Clinton Avenue, Clifton, New Jersey on charges of sexual assault and child endangerment. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love, and the Fair Lawn Police Department under the direction of Chief Glen Cauwels.

Construction Worker Plunges 25 feet Through Skylight in Fair Lawn

Fair Lawn NJ, A construction worker sustained life threatening traumatic injuries after falling through a roof mounted skylight and landing on a concrete floor 22-25 feet below. The incident occurred at Glen Toyota, 23-07 Maple Avenue, Fair Lawn at approximately 12 noon on Sunday, 10/14. Fair Lawn Police officers forced entry into the commercial building in order to aid the victim. He was rushed to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center by ambulance, which was supported by a paramedic team from The Valley Hospital. No other workers on the scene were injured in the incident.
