Sewell NJ, Acting Attorney General Matthew J. Platkin and the Division of Consumer Affairs announced today that a lawsuit by the State has resulted in a New Jersey-based timeshare rental and resale services company and its owner being ordered to pay over $10 million – including $9.32 million in civil penalties – and being permanently barred from doing business in New Jersey.

Bergen County Florist Resolves Consumer Fraud Allegations

Mahwah NJ,  As flower shops prepare to take orders for Mother’s Day floral arrangements, Attorney General Gurbir S. Grewal today announced a settlement with a Bergen County-based online florist for allegedly failing to compensate customers when it delivered flowers that were wilting, or otherwise different from the arrangements pictured on the company’s website.

NJ Attorney General Files Lawsuit to Stop Misleading Fundraising and Other Misconduct at Wyckoff Animal Charity

Wyckoff NJ, Attorney General Gurbir S. Grewal  announced a lawsuit against Merlin’s Kids, Inc., a charity focused on training and placing rescue dogs as service animals; United K9 Professional Inc., a related for-profit company; and the Bergen County woman who founded and runs both entities.
