HACKENSACK, NJ – A shocking incident has led to a technician at Hackensack University Medical Center (HUMC) being arrested and charged with the sexual assault of a female patient. The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office (BCPO) announced the charges on October 1st, underscoring the serious breach of trust within the healthcare setting.
Asher Younis, 41, of Dumont, who was employed as an electrocardiogram (EKG) technician at the hospital, was arrested shortly after the alleged incident.
