Newark NJ, This morning, an observant commuter noticed an injured hawk hiding outside Newark Penn Station. The commuter alerted New Jersey Transit Police officers who quickly devised a rescue plan. The District 2 Officers worked together to ensure the hawk was safely contained without further injury to itself or others. They then transported the hawk to proper medical care.
