Ridgewood NJ, Jamboree’s first stream event, Mission imPossible, was a tremendous success, raising over $200,000 for need-based scholarships. The link will remain open through February 28 to give more people an opportunity to view the performance.
Ridgewood NJ, Jamboree 2021 Mission Impossible Streaming February 4th,5th and 6th. The following is a comment off of a Facebook group which explains what Jamboree is all about and why it is such a worthwhile cause :
“This year marks the 75th show for Ridgewood High School’s Jamboree, one of the great traditions of the Ridgewood community, that raised over $200,000 last year to help Ridgewood families in need with college expenses. Last year alone, 41 families benefited from the money raised. This year that need is greater than ever because of the pandemic and the production was filmed rather than it’s usual sold out live performances. It was no easy feat to accomplish this, with 165 cast members and 15 people on the creative team and crew. This year’s show is aptly named “Mission Impossible” !”
