RIDGEWOOD, NJ | October 17, 2025 – Students at Ridgewood High School (RHS) received an unforgettable history lesson today when Governor Phil Murphy made a surprise visit to the school. The Governor sat in with students during Mr. Yannone’s American History and Literature class, focusing on New Jersey’s profound role in the nation’s founding.
The visit comes as New Jersey ramps up preparations for the upcoming America 250 celebration, the Semiquincentennial of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
