Ridgewood NJ, Ridgewood Crew displayed its flexibility, determination, and perseverance at the annual Head of the Passaic Regatta (HOPR) in Lyndhurst, NJ, this past weekend, overcoming a last-minute date change and an, at times, highly challenging race course to score five victories and 10 overall podium finishes.

Ridgewood Crew Notches Two Wins, Nine Medals Overall on Home Course at Head of the Passaic Regatta

Lyndhurst NJ, on their home course, Ridgewood Crew rowers powered to nine podium finishes at Sunday’s Head of the Passaic Regatta, a 4,150-meter head course meet co-hosted by the Passaic River Rowing Association and Nereid Boat Club. Ridgewood’s final medal tally included two golds, three silvers, and four bronzes.

Ridgewood Crew Competes at the Tail of the Passaic Regatta

Ridgewood NJ, Ridgewood Crew participated in a local event this past weekend at the 2019 Tail of the Passaic Regatta led by Head Coach Boris Roque-Alvarez and veteran coach Bob O’Connor. Launching from their familiar Passaic River Rowing Association docks in Lyndhurst, NJ.  Teams from the Northern New Jersey area took to the water with Ridgewood Crew competing with 9 entries.
