Newark NJ, unless you’re happy to live in a city with one of the worst unemployment rates in New Jersey, you might want to avoid Newark. The largest city in New Jersey is also one of its most jobless – a massive 11.3% of the population is unemployed. Just to put that in perspective, that’s more than double the US average.
