It sounds like something out of a comedy, but the incident was a real-life scare that brought evening commuter traffic to a standstill. On Thursday evening, 10/30/2025, a rental vehicle driver in Ho-Ho-Kus, New Jersey, followed their GPS directions so precisely that they ended up driving directly onto the active NJ Transit railroad tracks near the Hollywood Avenue rail crossing.
