NJTPC Marches July 4th Parade in Ridgewood NJ
NJ Tea Party Coalition will be celebrating the birth of our country by marching in the Ridgewood July 4th Parade with a large float supported by American Patriots, members of NJTPC!
Any veteran who cannot walk can ride on the float. The year’s theme is “Declaration of Independence”
You can be part of the voices being lifted up in opposition to the government trying to run every aspect of our lives, take more of our money in bloated tax schemes, and imposing more regulation upon us, all of which they attempt to do in direct opposition of the Constitution and the taxpayers of America……….. US!
If you would like to march in this year’s parade, expect to arrive by 9:00 AM to queue up. We will meet on Monroe Street and West Ridgewood Avenue. Information will be posted on the website at www.njteapartycoalition.org
The parade should end around noon or shortly thereafter, and thus you will have time for family activities if you leave at that time. Should you choose to stay after the parade, a schedule of the Ridgewood activities AFTER the parade can be found: https://www.ridgewoodjuly4th.org
Tell your friends and bring them with you to march with us or cheer us on from the sidelines- get the word out……let’s all come together in support of this great day, July 4th!

This Ridgewood resident will be there. Will you?
You will get there on roads paved with tax dollars to watch a parade also on roads paved with tax dollars. All the while, the peace will be kept by a police force paid for with tax dollars, and if anybody gets hurt, they can be taken to a hospital and cared for by technology developed primarily for / by the military, again paid for with tax dollars.
Enjoy your little rally, children.
Rob, what you’re saying or trying to imply isn’t exactly clear (at least to me). Would you please clarify? There are some who decry NJTPC’s annual participation in the parade as improperly political and I’d like to know your opinion.
I don’t think it’s improper, first amendment rights and all.
I am bemused by the TPC’s claims of “patriotism”, as if they are more “patriotic” than a tax paying liberal democrat, of which there are many.
Speaking from experience, the majority of Tea Party types I’ve met are lower-middle class white people who are motivated by race, and the balance are upper-middle class white people who just want to pay less taxes…or have less of their taxes go towards entitlements. The funny thing is the Middle class, all of it, will continue to be exploited by whatever kind of government we have.
Rob, are you saying that the NJTPC is a partisan political organization, first and foremost, and the Ridgewood Independence Day Parade should not ban such organizations from marching in the Ridgewood Independence Day Parade, as it currently does? If that is the case, then I think the Ridgewood parade organizers disagree with you that the NJTPC is a partisan political organization, because its annual participation in the parade is becoming routine now. Or is it that you think the Ridgewood parade organizers are themselves political partisans whose views coincide with the NJTPC?
For what it’s worth, speaking from my experience, tea partiers are not motivated by race at all. They are motivated by love of this country and the principles on which it was founded. Money is also really not any part of what is causing many of them to become actively involved in grass roots civics for the first time in their lives.
