Notice of The passing of honorary Police Chief Michael Feeney

It is with a very heavy heart we must announce the passing of honorary Police Chief Michael Feeney. Michael was our 2013 police chief for a day. He remained on as our honorary police chief helping with community policing activities and helping to establish our Community Policing Youth Ambassador/Leadership Program. Michael lost his battle with cancer early Friday afternoon. Michael demonstrated the traits of a true leader, inspiring others with his courage, his compassion for others and his desire to make a positive difference for his community and for young people.
Michael was extremely proud of his role as Honorary Police Chief and took the responsibilities seriously despite dealing with medical and school requirements, Michael worked with Chief Ward to get the Community Policing Youth Ambassador/Leadership program started.
The wake will be Monday 12/2/2013 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 1 Passaic Street, Ridgewood from 4:00pm to 8:00pm
The Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM on Tuesday 12/3/2013 at Our Lady of Mt.Carmel Church
