CareOne on Ridgewood Avenue and its related assisted living facility, CareOne at the Cupola, are both owned by Millennium Healthcare Centers, LLC of Fort Lee. The facility received an overall rating of five stars, “much above average” on Medicare’s NursingHomeCompare website. That was based on ratings of “average” for quality measures, “above average” for staffing, and “much above average” for health inspections.
Donna Leusner, a spokeswoman for the Paramus Board of Health told North jersey media the facility is taking steps to address it.
Care One should be renamed Care Less. My mother was there for hospice care and the facility was so awful that we moved her to a new facility after two days. We spoke with the management about our issues but never received any follow-up other than receiving a bill for service. They are absolutely shameful.
