Dear Paramus Community,
Next Tuesday, June 7, New Jersey will hold its primary elections. In Paramus, six out of our eight school buildings are utilized as polling places. As I communicated in last week’s update, our schools have multiple layers of protection and support related to the physical and mental safety of our students and staff. However, last week’s tragedy in Uvalde has significantly impacted the sense of well-being for members of school communities across the nation.

Therefore, the district will be utilizing a school closure day on Tuesday, June 7, to ensure the physical and mental well-being of staff, students, and families. This school closure does not impact any events held outside of the school day.
