Fair Lawn NJ, Fair Lawn residents and transit commuters are finally getting a major upgrade! The long-awaited Plaza Greene development, a massive mixed-use project bringing 145 age-restricted apartments and the first Sprouts Farmers Market in Bergen County, is officially set to break ground.

After five years of planning and development, the former blighted area next to the historic Radburn train station is being transformed into a vibrant, transit-oriented hub.

Get Ready for Sprouts: A New Organic Grocery Anchor

The most exciting news for local shoppers is the confirmation that Sprouts Farmers Market, the popular organic and natural grocery chain, will occupy a significant portion of the ground-floor retail space.

  • Retail Space: The four-story building will feature approximately 22,000 square feet of retail, anchored by the Sprouts store.

  • Bergen County Debut: This marks a major milestone, as it will be Sprouts’ first-ever location in Bergen County and its sixth in New Jersey.

  • Economic Boost: Fair Lawn Mayor Cristina Cutrone expressed enthusiasm, predicting the unique business “is going to help bring other unique businesses to town as well,” boosting local economic development.

  1. Now I realize what’s wrong with Fair Lawn. Old blight!

The best way to handle that is…………………………………NEW BLIGHT!

Perhaps FL should merge with Paramus? If nothing else, they’d gain a PARKING GARAGE.

  2. I have lived a couple blocks from here for decades, and I am thrilled to have a grocery store there again. (I would prefer a Lidl because I am cheap, LOL.) Hopefully, a lot of the tenants will not need a car when living on top of the grocery store and next to the train station. I would think two people sharing an apartment in the area could go down to one car and use Bolt on rare occasions.
