Police Respond to Reported Fight at Floor & Decor Store in Paramus

Paramus NJ, a heavy police presence descended on the Floor & Decor store at 50 A&S Drive on Saturday evening following multiple 911 calls reporting a physical altercation in progress inside the store.

According to the Paramus Police Department, patrol units responded swiftly and in force to the scene shortly after the calls came in. Witnesses reported an active fight involving injuries, prompting the dispatch of two ambulances as a precautionary measure.

One Person Taken Into Custody

Upon arrival, officers were able to gain control of the situation and took at least one individual into custody. That person was transported to Paramus Police Headquarters for processing.

Although several callers described injuries at the scene, no victims were observed entering the ambulances stationed outside the store. Authorities have not yet released the identity of the person detained or the circumstances surrounding the altercation.

Police Investigation Ongoing

Paramus police officers at the scene declined to offer further details as the incident remains under investigation. It is not yet clear how many individuals were involved in the altercation or if any charges will be filed beyond the arrest.
