Glen Rock NJ, a fallen tree on Thurston Terrace caused a power outage affecting 46 PSE&G customers in Glen Rock on the morning of Saturday, May 31.
According to PSE&G’s Outage Center, utility crews were dispatched to the scene, and power was estimated to be fully restored by 1:00 PM the same day.
🌳 Downed Tree to Blame for Morning Power Disruption
The outage occurred after a tree came down on Thurston Terrace, knocking out electric service in the immediate area. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and emergency services were quick to respond.
The Glen Rock Police Patrol Division arrived at the scene to ensure public safety and assist with any necessary traffic or safety measures.
🔌 PSE&G Response and Estimated Restoration Time
PSE&G’s online outage map listed the incident and updated residents on the progress. As of the last report, full restoration was expected by 1:00 PM on May 31.
Residents in the area were advised to avoid Thurston Terrace until the scene was cleared and electric service was safely restored.

Thanks to the quick response from local law enforcement and PSE&G crews, the issue was contained and no further damage or risk to public safety occurred. Glen Rock officials remind residents to report any downed wires or trees and to never approach fallen power lines.
