  1. Love the picture with this announcement….coming to a village near you….bring on the growth. If a little is good for the town, than even more is better and even more is great! When and where does it stop? The PB should only move forward if they can clearly define the boundaries of these zones. If they are unable to do this, we will be setting ourselves up for years of litigation from other property owners and developers who will argue for the same zoning benefits on their land.

  2. You should use pictures of our empty lots

  3. When there over developed lots we should take a picture of your full pockets. #2

  4. All or nothing

  5. I’m looking forward to building a replica of the Seagram’s Building on my 1/4 acre. From the roof I can wave at the Valley Hospital’s desired parking garage “lit up like a beacon 24/7,” as CRR’s attorney described.

  6. #3, what are you talking about ? I am not a developer and I don’t own those lots. You like barren, empty lots in the CBD ? Do you ever go there ?

  7. These lots will not remain empty and barren. They will be developed commercially if this zoning is not approved. Do not be fooled by this argument. It is too costly for land owners to sit on empty lots forever. They have only sat empty for this long because they are awaiting incredibly lucrative high density zoning changes.

  8. No. 7 is right. The developers are hoping to maximize profits. It will come at a very high cost to Ridgewood despite their arguments to the contrary. Go visit Montclair or Englewood one weekend and see how it compares to Ridgewood. There should be no changes to the master plan to allow this kind of high density housing development. Poor Robinson Lane – can you imagine if that is to be the main road into Mr. Bolger’s latest folly?!?
