Ridgewood NJ, sources report that there is a large rat infestation along train tracks and by old taxi station. The rats of the four legged variety have made a home for themselves at the Ridgewood Train Station.
NJ Transit has been treating the problem but there are a lot of rat tunnels and from time to time you see them running around especially during the morning commute .
The implosion of rodents is amazing to me.
There are a kijillion chipmunk holes in my lawn.

Another reason to thank Aronsohn, Pucciarelli, and Hauck. All the construction has uprooted the rats.
I will tell you what is going on since you can’t figure it out for yourself or don’t want to admit that you and your kind are to blame.
The more the woods are developed, meaning the more open space is developed the fewer foxes and coyotes we have to eat the rats. In other words you and your kind are destroying nature. YOU are destroying God’s ecosystem. YOU are the RAT.
People laugh and make fun of people like myself who do not want Schedler and other small wooded lands to be developed, because I know that wildlife live there too, and it is vital, not important, but vital that we have plenty of open space for God’s ecosystem to thrive.
When you see rats and other rodents think of yourselves the biggest and worst rodents of all.
Now I want you to laugh at me and throw shit in my face when I say EVERY YARD should have an undeveloped area for wildlife, according to the NY Times and Washington Post; mine does. That my friends is how I worship the Lord.
Let’s lay some trails of cheese from these holes to certain key locations. Like Damiano’s car which is ALWAYS in prime shopper parking spaces.
I know we have a few two Legget rats walking around the village don’t we . And now we are learning who they are. They should be ashamed of themselves.

There’s plenty rats in the village. Just Most of them hide like mice. But sooner or later we find them , and we will take care of them.

A fox or a coyote that used to live at Schedler would be hunting rats at the train station? Yeah, you’re a different kind all right.
Maybe some of these rats are coming from up the block at the sanitation department . sanitation trucks are parked Along the tracks .i jog along side the railroad tracks in the morning and I see rats behind the sanitation trucks jumping all around.
I can’t wait until the GINORMOUS GARAGE is built.

Can you imagine if the village of Ridgewood Board of Health ever inspected all the basements in the CBD what they would find. I’m a plumber and believe me people I seen some nasty dirty basements in Ridgewood. I would not bring my family into the Village of Ridgewood to eat in those old 100-year-old buildings. Many of those basements are disgusting dirty Smelly unorganized bugs rodents oh yes.
If you would like to see a few rats go behind Rite Aid and Starbucks in the parking lot, look close to the buildings. There’s definitely a problem in that area.

So very true regarding the basements of a few buildings in our business section of town. Some of them are in need of major cleaning some of them look like dungeons. More inspection must be done with all these restaurants. There’s a few that I will not mention their names but some of these establishments are filthy. Someone must be looking the other way I don’t get it unacceptable.
I would guess that most of them are filthy , especially the newer ones, where the owners are pissing in their pants with eagerness to make millions from rich Ridgewoodians. And couldn’t care less about secret filth in hard to see places.
I would trust the old Daily Treat. Only eating venue in town that I would really trust.
But many Ridgewoodians wouldn’t eat there because it is not fancy enough; can’t impress their friends by saying I ate at the Shit Hilton restaurant.
