Reader says Albano is the Mayors fourth potential sycophant to do his bidding

Regarding Mike Sedon’s longevity as a resident, doesn’t anybody remember that Aronsohn had lived here for maybe a couple of years before running for council? He picked our town as a target, moved to it, and got himself elected by the innocent electorate that had never seen such politicking before. This was to be a steppingstone to higher office, but the big guys don’t seem interested, so he has stayed put.

For his next act he pulled in two bewildered residents who had never considered running for council as long as they would do his bidding. Sure enough, has had his 3-2 vote on countless important issues.

Now he has selected a fourth potential sycophant to do his bidding in a four-year term that would continue for a couple of years beyond the 2016 election, when he might personally be gone. And yes, with any luck at all he and his compadres will quit or be booted off the council two years from now and we can return to sanity in this town if they have not managed to destroy it completely.

  1. “Bewildered residents” ? What important 3-2 votes specifically are you complaining about ? Here is the link to minutes & agendas from all of the meetings that you’ve apparently attended https://www.ridgewoodnj.net/agenda.cfm
Which 3-2 votes have destroyed this Village ? Please be specific if you are going to make such hysterical claims. Do you mean the last Valley expansion vote which our current Mayor voted against ? Or the 4-1 vote to retroactively raise the pay for our former VM by 12% ? The one “No” on that vote was our current Mayor.

  2. I agree.
What is Albano going to do in return for getting a baseball field that I don’t care about — even though my son plays high school ball. He must have promised something under the table.
There are serious issues facing this village and I am not going to vote in favor of a guy who hasn’t bothered to attend council meetings or even vote for years. Heck, he can’t even keep the finances of RBSA in order.
Also, I am incensed at the emails from RBSA and the football association. They have my email address because my children have played sports and I needed information about game times. I did not expect them to use it to campaign for a silly man.

  3. Hey, if you see Muzio in a voting booth tell him that we don’t use levers any more….

  4. Albano signs on public property along Grove st. There are no rules when it come to him and his amigos.

  5. Doesn’t matter now — he lost by over 1,500 votes — hasn’t been that big a disparity in a long time. Next, we need to push aside the 3 amigo’s.

  6. Now please spend the day tomorrow removing the signs for all 3 candidates.
This place is looking like a trailer park.
