” To stuff so many apartments in a suburban area that’s already dense is terrible. The impact will be tremendous. I see all 3 sites (including what’s being built next to YMCA) along the tracks as I ride the train every morning. They will choke the whole look and feel of Ridgewood. Current residents who appreciated CBD will try to avoid it at any cost. What’s most concerning is who will occupy these apartments. Multi children families, section 8 recipients (if they can’t fill them up fast enough)? Will there be speculation? What other games are being considered to mess up RW?
It is so sad to see same faces who openly supported Aronsohn & Co show their happiness that things are moving along. Are they plain idiots or simply mean spirited? Their own quality of life is about to take a hit as well.”
I’m done with CBD.
1. I will not use parksense ever
2. I will not park in garage ever
3. and it goes without saying that I will never eat at Wall-Boy’s resturant.
We loved it years ago, not now . Way too much traffic . You just wait it’s going to get worse.
How about repaving cottage st lot.
cottage street lot surface has long been the spite Field of the mismanagers of this town
its a big FU
My family and I just left Starbucks and we overheard at the village is looking to build out our yard waste pick up program is that true.
Anyone heard this,thanks
The c b d is very dirty. Don’t they seeep it every morning any more.
I own a store on broad st , it shows it’s needs to be swept.
If you think it’s dirty now wait until all these condos are built with all these extra people living in town. They will be sweeping every single day especially on the weekend it’s going to be a must. Extremely more walkers in the CBD we will have a Lotta traffic a lot more dirt.
I truly feel sorry for any merchant who tries to survive in Ridgewood. The outrageous parking costs, the walking inaccessibility of walking down the sidewalks (Yes. I know the town is trying to “fix” this but as long as It’s Greek to Me doesn’t have to give up its wall and parking spot they took because of the wall, and are getting rewarded for it by having to give up less of its outdoor space than any other merchant–the town is not really trying to ease walking if they continue to support Paul! And some recent comment said rent in downtown Ridgewood hasn’t risen in over 20 years????
that was bogus , its the highest in the area
