The Mayor and his team have a major credibility problem. Regardless of whatever accomplishments they tout from now until the next election, they cannot escape their past and ongoing mishandling of Village matters. They are arrogant and vindictive and even when they try to hold laughable forums on civility, they inadvertently violate the Sunshine Laws. They’ve been caught in secret meetings developers, they have been caught accepting free tickets to fundraisers, they have publicly humiliated both their political adversaries and any resident that has dared to voice a contrary opinion. None of them has the guts to address any of these particular issues publicly yet they all seem to post here anonymously to advance their personal agendas to try to defend the indefensible.
It’s unfortunate that our town’s elected leadership acts the way these 3 have. At this point, anything that any of them proposes should rightfully be looked at skeptically as none them can be taken at their word. Both individually and as a trio, this group bas failed miserably at gaining the public trust.

And you now what is a real shame is that the village manager can not do her job because the 3 story teller’s control her . she is just a puppet for them. it’s not working. she don’t need this bull shit. and yes people are under standing what is going on. we all moved into town because of the services and school. and the services are going down. but my tax’s are not. these 3 are sending this town down the hill. people you all need to wake up and see what is going on. and yes al loves the word out source .
Geez bro, this Village is going down because of horrible CBAs for decades, everyone knows that. All of the Municipal tax increases of the past 15 years have gone to wages, pensions and health care for public safety employees, as well as debt repayments. gabber had to fire 10% of the workforce in 2010 just to keep up with all of those costs, and he was’t firing cops and firemen, but the people who provide the very services you say are going down. It will get a lot worse as the long term, fixed costs of those CBAs takes more and more of the budget away from other services for Villagers. Look at where all of the growth in the budgets has gone, not services, but wages, pensions, health care and debt.

Yes 635 but most of the Carpetbaggers do. That why they don’t say a word about any increase in the property takes from the school budget. You know its for THEIR KIDS. Remember public safety 24/7 /365 school 8 hr/5 day a week/ and 8 months a year.
