Reader says Time to Boycott Valley and all doctors associated with it
Time to Boycott Valley and all doctors associated with it. Dr. Cannaliato (Mahwah) suggests that Valley move. We agree, I’m sure Meridian can take this property and make it work in its current size? Renew within, you wasted so much time asking for unrealistic increases that you now deserve to fail. Don;t forget to blame the town for your failures too. Pascack Valley and Hackensack now seem like great alternatives for the 6% that are now suffering in Ridgewood. Remember, what Valley is asking for not one single resident would be allowed to do. Follow the rules of the H-Zone and Master Plan. Now shut up and accept the town decisions. Dr. Cannalialto calls our boycott actions childish and spiteful? Valley’s actions are Bulling with funds to do so. Some residents would now rather die in an ambulance than be taken to Valley!
Looks like your gonna die in the back if an ambulance then….what a particularly stupid comment. Your not all there dude.
I do not know of one person in the area that is even considering this idiotic idea.
Sorry bud but Hackensack has a first class trauma center ,Valley is just a Maternity hospital
I know hundreds of people who have long since moved on from Valley , just a mediocre hospital , NYC is very close for anything serious and as other posters have pointed out HUMC has an excellent trauma unit
How many of us will need a trauma center and to those that think Valley is mediocre maybe they should try doing some research then maybe they will find otherwise.
I have done the research, buddy. I had some very serious conditions that doctors associated with Valley couldn’t help.
I went to the Big Apple, doctors associated with hospitals in the big apple and was totally cured.
Hospitals in question are Manhattan Eye and Ear and Columbia Pres. Even though Valley says they have doctors from Columbia Pres here, not the same ones.
I was treated in one day procedures in both of those hospitals and had follow ups.
Valley is mediocre. By all means , go there first and if not satisfied , go to the Big Apple and see the difference.
Ridiculous Hospital, deserves ridiculous comments.
Valley has purchased quite a few properties in the area and they still sue Ridgewood? Shame is square on Valley.
People do have choices in health care. Valley should now be considered at the bottom.
Ambulances do ask you where you’d like to go. I believe now anywhere but Valley? I guess i have issues, right Dude?
I’m not going to disparage Valley service as their paid and volunteer workforce deserve better. Having said that, I am extremely disappointed in the actions of the hospital over the past several years and also disappointed with some trustees and foundation members who live in Ridgewood but apparently haven’t protested the shameful suit by the hospital. In my mind, their silence means tacit approval of these dealings which I find quite offensive to our residents. A renewal of the hospital site should been simply that and the wishes, laws and decisions of this community should have respected. I will not boycott my doctors who are caught in the middle but I will no longer support the hospital nor will I hold some villagers in the same regard.
If the deputy mayor’s firm still does work for Valley, i think he should either resign from the council or have his firm agree they wont represent Valley for a period of at least two years after everything is resolved. Clearly, Al can’t participate in any discussions involving Valley and this is a time where we need our entire council in place. Valley has declared war against the Village and the Village needs to be at full force to respond.
Well said #8…
Anyone can sue – doesn’t mean they’ll win. They had 8 years of due process and this is their last gasp. The less attention this gets the better.
Due process?
Really?
it that what you call it….?
#7 are you asking the question “anywhere but valley”?
you keep talking about “choices” …make up your mind.
have fun at St. Joe’s….your gonna LOVE paterson…..
Choices, yes, we all have many choices, in this area, for healthcare.
St. Josephs, is an excellent hospital for children’s needs. That is a sad Paterson reference.
There is Pascack Valley, Englewood, and Hackensack to name a few in Bergen County.
Valley, is no longer one of my choices based on their actions.
If Obama is the answer. What was the question?
If Valley gets what they want “LOVE paterson” might just have a whole new meaning. And by the way, St.Joe’s started out as one building. How many blocks do they take up now ?
