In the spirit of Thomas Edison, the FireGone team worked year-round to successfully invent an environmental non-intrusive device that gathers environmental data and sounds alarms to a central watch station when there is a high potential for a fire. It is envisioned that these Wildfire Assessor devices will be strategically placed in forests so firefighters will know the precise location of any possible danger. Thanks to the Ridgewood Fire Department’s referral, the Wildfire Assessor has already received positive feedback from wildfire fighters in Oregon and the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection. Congratulations to the FireGone Team on this invention!
