Introducing: The Alumni Square Capital Project
The Alumni Association is thrilled to introduce its newest capital campaign: Alumni Square. This project is envisioned as a permanent, welcoming outdoor gathering space situated right outside the Little Theater, created exclusively for RHS alumni.
Alumni Square will serve as the premier spot for alumni gatherings—whether during Homecoming Weekend, Class Reunions, Graduation, or any special return to campus.
A Place for Remembrance and Legacy
Crucially, Alumni Square will be a dedicated place to honor and remember classmates who are no longer with us. The vision for this beautiful new space includes:
- Beautifully Landscaped Grounds
- Thoughtfully Placed Benches
- New Tree Plantings
- Special Commemorative Blue Stone Pavers
- Custom Signage
Each of these elements can be commissioned in memory of a classmate, ensuring their life and legacy are perpetually remembered by the RHS community.
How to Support the Alumni Square Campaign
The Alumni Square capital campaign officially launches this Homecoming Weekend 2025 and will continue fundraising through the summer of 2027. The goal is to complete the installation in Fall 2027, culminating in a special ribbon-cutting ceremony at Homecoming Weekend that year.
The RHS Alumni Association is actively seeking support to turn this shared vision into reality. Alumni can contribute by:
- Commissioning Commemorative Elements: Dedicating a bench, tree, or paver in a classmate’s name.
- Individual Donations: Supporting the broader mission of landscaping and construction.
Help us build this beautiful, lasting tribute to the spirit and history of RHS. Your donation ensures that every graduate, past and future, has a dedicated space on campus to call their own.
