A good time to see how Village and School “elected” officers respond to each other at the public forum.
BOE, please do not open before Labor Day. You’re ruining everything, including Graydon.
Think of the taxpayers for once.
Let the well paid teachers pay for their own Cadillac Health care plan
Give them obamacare pans, just like the taxpayers who pay their salaries.
Agreed, why are we subdizing $26,000 health care plans for these NJEA union members when we have our own bills to pay? They should also have defined contribution, i.e. 401k or 403b style pension plans like the private sector, where the government cannot meddle with their retirement savings. Their current defined benefit plans are taking up more and more of our property tax dollars every year to fund because of government stealing from the cookie jar. Remove the temptation and let the teachers direct their own retirement savings.
There was not a single employee of the Ridgewood Public School System who could have been promoted to fill the principal’s position at Orchard?
What does that say about top District management and the BOE itself if we have no viable succession program?
