Ridgewood Church Offered Drive-thru Ashes for Ash Wednesday

Ridgewood NJ, In you were in a rush yesterday for Ash Wednesday  Christ Church Ridgewood offered a drive-thru ashes for the busy New Jerseyans. In an era where you can get just about anything in a drive-thru, even drive-thru ashes are available on Ash Wednesday at Christ church in Ridgewood.

Father Tom Mathews of Christ Church Ridgewood  told CBS news that several hundred people took advantage of the drive thru service in a one hour and cars lined up in the parking lot to receive the ashes and then go on their way.
