Ridgewood Concert Band: Salute To Veterans Concert

Donald Batchelder returns to the RCB concert stage as trumpet soloist for the season opening concert on October 25th. Recognized as an outstanding free-lance trumpeter in the New York area since 1983 Mr. Batchelder will be performing When Speaks the Signal – Trumpet Tone by David Gillingham.

Join us as we kick off our 31st season with “A Salute To Our Nation’s Veterans”. This concert features a wide variety of music ranging from familiar favorites like Sousa’s famous “Stars and Stripes Forever” and Tchaikovsky’s “1812 Overture” to pieces you might not know yet like the overture to Sousa’s operetta “Katherine” and David Holsinger’s “To Tame the Perilous Skies”.

Free Admission for Active and Retired Military Members
To show our gratitude for service to our country, all current and retired members of the military are invited to attend the October 25th concert free of charge.
